This week we’ve been exploring nursery rhymes and learning science along the way. The kids were very unsure of Ms. Bev’s ability to swing a bucket of water upside down and thought for sure she’d spill it a la Jack and Jill. She did fine- the kids did not. We had some wet, but laughing children! Today it was Humpty Dumpty and some egg tumbling. Why did the raw one make such a mess, but the cooked one didn’t? Such eager learners!

It’s NUMBERS week at OSLP! We’ve worked on counting, number recognition and sequencing, and searched for mystery numbers. Also this week we have reviewed all the letters we’ve learned so far this year. It was fun today to see the kids jumping around the room spelling their names out on floor tiles. Fun!
This week is all about pets here at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Preschool! We’ll be using our theme to work on memory skills, learn about the letter P, and many more fun activities. For our Pre-K class, we’ll finish the week with a field trip to a pet store to learn about pets the kids may not have. Snakes, anyone?
