May Recap

Well, we have ended our 16th year of preschool!  I am happy to report that all of our Pre-Kindergarten students are on their way to being fantastic kindergarten students in the fall!  Jenn and I will miss them next year.

Our first week was transportation week.  Probably one of the favorite weeks because we take a ride on a Fort Collins city bus to Ben and Jerry’s.  Thankfully, we did not miss the bus and Ben and Jerry’s was ready with ice cream cones for the children.

The second week we talked all about our moms.  We learned that the best thing she does for all of us are give us hugs and kisses but, making cookies was a very popular item as well.  The three year old class made their moms hand print flowers and our bigger kids had their pictures taken in old fashioned clothes with a flower memory for their moms.  We also held our annual Mother’s Day Tea where I think everyone had a great time!

Our last week of school is always lots of fun.  We had bubble and chalk day and the ever popular water day!  We ended the week with bike day and then graduation day.  It always chokes me up to see some of our families grow out of us as brothers and sisters eventually grow out of us.

As always, I want to say a very big THANK YOU to all of you for supporting our ministry at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Preschool and a very special thank you to Pastors Michael and Leta for leading us in chapel this year.  We are very blessed by all of you.  We hope your summer is peacful, restful, and tons of fun!
